The Brachial Plexus is a complex anatomical structure. If this area is not familar to you , reviewing your anatomy notes to ensure you have a good base level of understanding will assist your learning in this lecture. The lecture will give an overview of the rehabilitation of people with brachial plexus injuries (BPI). Covering: anatomy of the BPI, mechanisms of BPI and associated injuries, symptoms of BPI – functional and neurological assessment, levels of injury and orthotic management of BPI.
