Mining
Rare metals, zinc, oil, natural gas, coal, silver and gold are mined in Alaska. Most mining is inclusive to big companies, with the exception of gold mining.
Gold mining
Alaska has a goldrush, which largely closes down during the cold season. Gold mining is not inclusive to major corporations, as individual prospectors and small groups get involved. Mining vessels drudge gold from the Bering Sea, and in other places the land is excavated for gold.
Gas and oil
Oil is drilled from the arctic region, sometimes off of Alaska's northern coast.
Fishing
Alaska's waters off of the Aleutian Islands are known for commercial fishing.
