Applied analysis
Applied analysis is the study of limits, differentiation, integration, and series as they apply to real world problems. The more theoretical side of the subject is Abstract Analysis, which deals with how one can perform all of these operations inside of more exotic sets and spaces than the familiar real and complex numbers.
