- There were business pressures onto projects like Linux such as to buy back Linux Inc and control its trademark.
- Linux has to consider user friendliness for non geek users.
- Community members have to survive and often argue of their monetary needs not be neglected so that they continue contributing to open source.

- How can contributors make money in a certain manner without compromising the culture and principles of community open source.
