This is a do it yourself guide to building a hammock for basic, convenient, mobile, leisure or inexpensive living comfort. The builder and user are responsible for personal safety.
Common materials
Some building materials are optional. All materials should be non-cancerous/hazardous.
- eye hooks
- rope
- carbinger clips or ring hooks
- bedding material; ie: tarp, strong sheets, canvas etc.
- sufficient blankets for warmth
- mosquito netting
Tweaks
Hybrid variations, with proper planning, can be made from different style hammocks.
