  2. Devise a study plan

  5. Practice tutorial exercises on your own, out of class
  6. Consider attending a repeat tutorial
  7. Complete the readings
  8. Come to drop-in tutorials to get help
  9. Ask questions if you don't understand something
  10. Read the announcements and discussion forum
  11. Form a study group or find a study buddy
  12. Read the detailed assessment guidelines.

Is supplementary assessment available?

  1. If a score of 45 to 49% is achieved and this is the unit last unit required before graduation, then supplementary assessment is available, as per supplementary assessment policy (UC).

What options are available if I haven't kept up?

  1. Withdraw - Enrolment amendment form
  2. Apply for extension to the due date(s) for assessment
  3. Submit assessment by the due date
  4. Submit assessment late (may incur late penalties)

What options are available if I Fail?

  1. Enrol in the unit's next offering.
  2. Enrol in an equivalent unit at another institution which is accredited by APAC. This could be via on-campus or external studies.
    1. You may wish to check with the unit convener whether the alternative unit you select is an equivalent - it should be a 3rd year level research methods and statistics unit within an accredited Bachelor of Psychology or equivalent degree
    2. On completion, apply for credit for the unit to UC - see Application for Credit (Advanced Standing) on the Student Forms page
