Make yourself a wiki-friend
Task
You need to interact with a friendly acquaintance on a wikimedia wiki - the English Wikipedia (obviously an account there is required) is recommended due to the high volumes of friendly newbies. Try checking the newbie recent changes feed - find someone making constructive edits then give them a nice personalized welcome (perhaps using one of the welcome templates - {{subst:welc}} is a good one). Encourage them to leave a response - if you are new explain what you're up to there and strike up a friendly conversation (3 messages will pass - just).
