- Abd (discuss • contribs) 13:21, 29 May 2014 (UTC) I have no academic experience with parapsychology, only a pile of preconceptions that I am setting aside to learn about what has actually been done in the field, and a general interest in supporting genuine skepticism vs. pseudoskepticism in science, as well as a general hope of the possibility of inclusive consensus in on wikis and in general human society.
- John: Interested in the topic generally, and it's potential implications for understanding the nature of mind/consciousness. I've noticed the data in the field to be a little challenging to wrap one's head around, but is quite interesting and provocative at the very least. I have often found politics to be at play which may be standing in the way of either A) more significant progress in the field, or B) conclusive proof the phenomenon is not real.--JohnCMaguire (discuss • contribs) 13:14, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
- Ben: I abhor the marginalization of subjects for ideological purposes, and believe that "skeptics" have erroneously rewritten the history of parapsychology to suit their purposes.Ben Steigmann (discuss • contribs) 14:28, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
