Motivation and emotion - Getting started

Here's how you can get started with the Motivation and emotion unit:

  1. Enrol
    1. Enrol in the unit
    2. Enrol in a tutorial
    3. Check your timetable for lecture and tutorial weeks and room numbers
    4. Check that you have logged in access to the unit's Moodle site
    5. Check and include the schedule and assessment due dates in your calendar.
  2. Materials
    1. Read the unit outline
    2. Get the textbook
    3. Get hold of an audio headset (for virtual tutorials and multimedia recording)
  3. Assessment
    1. Read about the assessment.
    2. Put the due dates in your calendar:
      1. Book chapter (9am Mon Week 12)
      2. Multimedia (9am Mon Week 13)
      3. Quizzes (9am Mon Week 14)
  4. Learn about Wikiversity and how to use it
    1. Create a Wikiversity account - choose a user name appropriate to your privacy requirements (can be based on your real name or a pseudonym).
    2. Practice editing a sandbox.
    3. Put a bit about yourself and areas of interest in Motivation and Emotion on your Wikiversity user page.
  5. Browse the previous book chapter topics. Think about what chapter topic you would like to contribute to the current book chapter table of contents. Ask questions, share your ideas, and get some feedback.
  6. Help.
