Book chapter checklist

Does the chapter:

  1. Have an accurate title and subtitle (at the top of the page) which matches the book chapter table of contents?
  2. Display a table of contents immediately below the title and subtitle?
  3. Use sentence-casing for heading text
  4. Provide an Overview which outlines the problem, sets up some focus questions, and introduces the content/structure?
  5. Explain relevant theory(ies)?
  6. Explain relevant research?
  7. Integrate discussion of theor(ies) and research?
  8. Illustrate the knowledge in an interesting way? (e.g., using images, tables, examples)
  9. Provide interactivity (e.g., relevant links, especially in-text wiki links to related Wikiversity or Wikipedia pages - e.g., see emotion (Wikipedia) - syntax for this link is [[w:Emotion|emotion]])
  10. Provide a Conclusion which emphasises the take-home message(s)?
  11. Use APA style (as much as reasonably possible in wiki-format, especially citations, references, table and figure captions)
  12. Utilise and cite the top 20 or so academic, peer-reviewed references about the topic?

  2. Did you get provide feedback and/or contribute in other ways to other chapters?
