Basic Forms of Adjectives
Using basic Adjectives:
Red:
- あかい = Red ー (Akai) Present tense.
- あかかった = Was red ー (Akakatta) Past tense.
Examples using Kanji:
- それは 赤い です。(Sore wa akai desu)。 That is red.
- これは 長い です。(Kore wa nagai desu)。 This is long.
- それは 赤かった です。 (Sore wa akakatta desu)。That was red.
