Point to Point Movement is a mechanism used in board game design. It is characterised by having a game board is divided into areas of varying shape and size. Players can move pieces into and out of each area in any direction provided the areas are adjacent or connected.

However, Point to Point Movement is an alternative way of presenting Area Movement, as the points act as areas with the "lines" representing the existence of a border between adjacent areas. See the example for Risk
