Cross-cultural communication describes the communication between two or more different cultures, that can be measured according to cultural dimensions. One of the leading researchers in defining culteral dimensions is Geert Hofstede that is famous for his four cultural dimensions:
- Masculinity-Femininity
- Collectivism-Individualism
- Power distance
- Uncertainty avoidance
And the fifth added by Chinese social researchers:
- Confusionism / Long-Term Orientation
