Choanozoa
The Choanozoa appear to be a paraphyletic group which gave rise to the animals. [1] They are single celled organisms which are, in all other respects, animals.
Choanozoa are single celled animals. Metazoa are multicellular animals. Holozoa are animals which are either single celled or multicellular. [2]
