Haupia

Haupia is Hawaiian pudding made of coconut milk and cornstarch (originally Polynesian arrowroot starch).

Ingredients

3 cups of coconut milk
1/2 cup of sugar
Dash of salt
1/2 cup of cornstarch

Procedure

Mix coconut milk with sugar and salt over a medium heat
Slowly add cornstarch and stir until thickened
Pour into a pan or square form
Cool for an hour
Cut into squares
