Introduction

The cuisine of Estonia is a bit similar to Finnish. The national foods of Estonia are often thought to be black pudding, sauerkraut, mulgipuder, kanepitemp, kama, jellied meat and rye bread. Estonians used to improve their foods and drinks with honey but now it's starting to be forgotten. The food on the table depended on the season. In the winter the dishes were heavy but in the end of the summer there were lots of vegetables and root vegetables.
