The Manhattan is a classic American cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1 shot Rye or Canadian whiskey
- 1/2 shot Sweet vermouth
- Angostura bitters
Garnishes
- Maraschino cherry

Instructions
- Pour whiskey and vermouth over ice in a mixing glass
- Add a dash of bitters
- Stir and strain into a cocktail glass
- Garnish with a cherry
Variations
