When some tissue injury
histamine and other vasoactive
(called mediators of
inflammation) released, they cause
vasodilation the blood flow to
affected site increases. Granulocyte
present in the blood
attracted to the site the injury by
substances as chemotactic
factors also by the injured
tissue by the active granulocytes
the area. The granulocytes the
capillaries by diapedesis, .e., using
pseudopods. Macrophages present
the region are activated . These cells
flood the space of the
affected trying to kill or
harmful agents, to prevent
necrosis and to isolate damaged
tissue.
