The Slovakian ZSSK class 861 diesel multiple units are brand new. They have been built by ŽOS Vrútky and the first ones were delivered
to the Slovakian state railways ZSSK in two batches 2015-18. It is a 140 km/h fast three coach, partly low-floor diesel multiple unit
with German MAN engines and with hydraulic transmission.

A similar new ZSSK class 861 diesel multiple unit waiting for its departure time. Notice the slight difference in the buffers of these
two trains. This no.003 is one of the preseries trains.

Class 671 double decker electric multiple units are also very new trains. They have been built by Škoda and similar trains are in use
also in the Czech Republic, in Lithuania and Ukraine. In Czech these trains are called by the name
"City Elephant". Slovakian ZSSK has 19 of these units. They have a power rating of 2000 kW and a top speed of 160 km/h.

These are exactly the same coach sets as in the "CityElefant" electric multiple units, but ZSSK has also bought some of these sets without
the usual motorised wagon that usually comes along with the wagons. They are then used with a variety of different Škoda made locomotives.

The other end of the same train as in pictures above. In this case power was provided by a very old class 240 electric locomotive.
The type is nicknamed "Laminatka" because the body shell of these locomotives is made laminated glass fiber. The machines were taken into
use in 1966 to 1969.

Slovakian ZSSK class 460 electric multiple units are already quite old trains. Typically - like here - they consist of two similar
motorised units at each end and two or more middle coaches, which are similar to German "Mitteleinstiegswagen" coaches of the 1950s
or early 1960s. These trains are known in Slovakia as "Elektrická jednotka 460". They were built 1974-78 in what then was Vagónka Tatra
n.p. Studénka (now a part of Škoda). Each motor wagon's power rating is 2000 kW and top speed of the train is 110 km/h.

This kind of old wagons are used as middle coaches in the class 460 trains. They are similra to old East German regional traffic
coaches of the 1970s.

ZSSK class 813/913 railbuses are fixed two-car multiple units rebuilt from one one coach class 810 railbus and its motorless driving trailer,
both heavily modernised and now permanently fixed as one unit. They are built 2006 to 2010. ZSSK has 44 of these trains.
