Dutch state railways NS operates in Germany under the trade name Abellio. This is Abellio's electric multiple unit of
the type Bombardier Talent 2, which Abellio calls Br9442. Other companies call the same trains Br442, Br1442 or Br2442.
This is a short-haul S-Bahn or regional train service. Abellio operates nearly 30 Regionalbahn or Regionalexpress lines
in former East Germany. Top speed of these trains is 160 km/h and Abellio has 35 of them in the network Mitteldeutschland.
