Seattle slow down the Bootleggers with a draw, but the leaders take another MVP. They also open a 3-point lead as Oulu beat Arsenal for second place. The Grecians beat Southampton to join the second rank, and the Automata pull a welcome 4 points in their effort to regain the department lead. The Orchestra also upset Arsenal.
Shamrock's Kane makes 6 of 6 saves to pull Shamrock to the top of the division. Bordeaux beat the Rovers 4-0 to trail by only goal difference, and White Beach draw twice to come in 4th. Stockholm draw all matches for their best showing yet, and the Plankton defeat da Gurlz to leave Leuven in last place for now.
The Brothers have apparently forgotten that humility is good for the soul; maybe they think letting in one goal is humble. Anyway, the Clansmen draw an MVP to threaten for second place, and the Capitols get a last-minute goal for their first win of the season.
Blud Feud run three 1-goal wins past the league, including a strange 3-2 win over the Misfits, and have a temporarily comfortable lead as the other top teams settle for no more than 3 points each.
A large surge to the top this time, and a close division begins to shake out some leaders. Tasmania win all 3 matches to join the gang, and the Wookies find the Cavemen right behind them.
The Oldies upset the Barrabases, and the Juggernaut now enjoy a 2-point cushion atop the division. Canberra draw both of the leaders, and are poised in 3rd place to pass anyone who stumbles. The Blow Fish are home from the hospital in time to lose all 3 matches, and the Crunchers lose at Burnaby for the home team's second win of the season.
Westminster roar out of the basement with wins over Altoona and the Freaks. Bramming join the race for the title, upsetting the Musicians and winning against the Freaks and Rovers. Linlithgow add an MVP of their own, and we have a pretty decent 7-team title contest.
The Hombres lose two matches, allowing the Victorians' MVP to give them a 3-point lead on the division. The middle of the division maintains its 4-point division as the nearest teams grab 3 points each. The Dragons beat both the Tumbleweeds and Physicists for an MVP, and the Tumbleweeds get their first win against Hentais.
The Borg are not out of it. They notch 2 wins and crawl out of the division basement. Borg join Chicago in beating Mad Face (former leader); The Utensils join Chicago at the top of the division as both suffer only a draw each. The Qs and the RNG embarass the commissioner with an MVP off the autopilot team, but at least they're still pretty much in the middle.
This session, the division went upside-down. The undefeated Emperors lost all three matches, one of them to the winless Sundowners. Singapore added another of those defeats on their way to the top of the division. Pierrepont suffered their first two losses and dropped to second; the Eagles suffered their first two wins and rose to the middle of the division.
Italy continues to play good and grabs another MVP! The Force uses the Force it seems as they too grab an MVP to move up to 2nd! With half of the season remaining, much can still happen, but right now it looks like five teams still have a chance for the title. Don't count anyone out though. Remember all teams are about equal in strength!
Two MVPs giving ANN and DUM the lead. At the other end, Turku gets only a draw and falls behind the three 7LP teams. DCN loses 1 LP in 87th minute in one match and in 89th in the other. I guess it will take a while before he takes anything for granted until the final whistle blows!
